The video, which is shared on social media and propaganda resources, was created using a neural network.
“When a person finds their place”, “precisely in his element”, such sarcastic comments accompanied social media posts from a video in which Volodymyr Zelensky allegedly performs an oriental dance. The president was also reminded of his previous career in the comedy show “Kvartal 95”, as well as the famous dance parody on high heels from ten years ago, which propagandists still regularly throw into the infospace.
However, the video circulating online is a fake generated with the help of a neural network. This is evident, first of all, from the unnatural facial expressions of “Zelenskiy”.
One can find out if a video has undergone artificial processing with the help of the Deepware tool. This tool allows to find manipulations of faces that are generated by artificial intelligence. Deepware Scanner, after analyzing the aforementioned dance video, found the clip to be suspicious with signs of tampering.
By uploading a screenshot of the video to Google Images reverse image search, StopFake also found the original video, which was later superimposed with the president’s face. It was published on TikTok back in October 2020 by the user vusaaal.
