Neither the BBC nor Bellingcat published such news. The propagandists once again used the logo of the British television company BBC and its design for propaganda purposes.

A video with the BBC logo is circulating online, in which it is stated that Volodymyr Zelenskyi’s personal doctor allegedly decided not to return to Ukraine after the medical conference in London.

«After the conference, the doctor disappeared from a hotel in London, and a few days later he was found in a refugee reception center in Paris, where he arrived to avoid returning to Ukraine,» publications claim.

It is also said that the President’s Office is allegedly carefully hiding the escape of Zelenskyi’s personal endocrinologist, but the Bellingcat research group managed to find out the «truth». Zelensky’s personal endocrinologist, after attending a closed conference at the London Imperial College, apparently did not return to his room, but took a bus to Paris, where he applied for refugee status.

Yet this information is not true — neither the BBC nor Bellingcat published such news.

First of all, the BBC has never published this video on its social media or website. Moreover, no credible Western media reported such an incident either.

Russian sources report that Zelenskyi’s doctor allegedly fled to France and cite the BBC, but the link in such publication leads to the BBC main page, not the indicated news story.

StopFake checked all BBC publications over the past month that mention Zelensky, but found no such news.

Such information is also not available on the official resources of the Bellingcat research group.

With the help of the Osavul platform, we managed to find out that this video was originally distributed by propaganda Telegram channels. The earliest publication dates back to the morning of July 19 when it appeared on the Telegram channel «Russia and Ukraine News: Special Operation Z».

The video itself is a compilation of various photos and video materials, probably taken from stock sites. These include footage of Volodymyr Zelenskyi, Christo Grozew from Bellingcat, photos of refugees and a train station in London. It should also be noted that the video does not contain any information about this so-called «Zelenskyi’s doctor» — neither his photo nor his name. It is indicative that this format of fakes citing the BBC and Bellingcat has been used by Russia before.
