Olena Zelenska did not publish such a post on her Instagram, and the Moscow Hotel is located in another city.
The Zelensky couple stayed at the Moscow Hotel during their visit to the UAE — this news is being spread by propaganda channels citing an Instagram story allegedly posted by the First Lady of Ukraine. In it, she allegedly indicated the geolocation and showed the hotel’s conference room, thanks to which it was possible to find out its name.
However, this news is false. First, Olena Zelenska did not publish such a Story — it is absent from her profile, and the screenshot was shared exclusively by pro-Russian sources. This is suspicious, because if the publication were true, Ukrainian users and journalists should have noticed the incident as well. In addition, it is unlikely that the first lady would share the geolocation of the hotel where she stayed, for security reasons. Secondly, the photo of the hotel conference room was taken directly from the net. The propagandists slightly changed the color correction of the image to make it more difficult to find it using a reverse search. And thirdly, although the room in the photo is indeed located in the Moscow Hotel, the Zelenskys could not have stayed there — because the hotel is located in Dubai, and they arrived in Abu Dhabi, as the official website of the Ukrainian President reported.
In the United Arab Emirates, Volodymyr Zelensky met with the country’s President Muhammad bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The leaders agreed on bilateral cooperation: in particular, the UAE’s mediation during the exchange of war prisoners, and signed the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA). Meanwhile Olena Zelenska visited the specialized rehabilitation clinic SRH in Abu Dhabi and discussed humanitarian support for Ukraine, in particular rehabilitation and assistance to large foster families. It is known that after that the couple plans to visit Saudi Arabia and Turkey.
