Sputnik Multimedia Group launched its Turkish website tr.sputniknews.com and online radio service on Friday.
The radio service will be available in six cities in Turkey, namely Istanbul, Ankara, Izmir, Bursa, Antalya and Manavgat, with the broadcast also available on the Internet portal.
The website tr.sputniknews.com will provide the Turkish audience with an alternative point of view on many current issues in Turkey, Russia and around the world. Editorial teams in both Moscow and Istanbul will contribute to the content of the website.
The high quality Sputnik Turkey content is produced by experienced journalists, delivering exclusive and up-to-date information and providing an insight into current global topics from an unbiased standpoint.
The Turkish-language website will feature numerous multimedia formats, including infographics, videos, photo galleries, online streams and Internet surveys. The Sputnik Turkey news service also provides analysis, exclusive interviews and opinion pieces.
The radio service will be broadcast in Turkey under the name RS FM, round the clock from a hub in Istanbul, with the radio programming also available on the Internet portal.
Sputnik official channels in Turkish will be available 24/7 on Facebook, Twitter, VK, and Google+.

New media brand Sputnik, designed by International Information Agency Rossiya Segodnya for a global audience, will give an alternative viewpoint on the world events, Rossiya Segodnya Director General Dmitry Kiselev said at the presentation of the Sputnik group.
