American TV presenter Liz Wahl on Russian TV channel RT resigned on air because of the actions Russia is taking in Ukraine.
In this video Liz Wahl, who is a presenter on RT in Washington said she can not be a part of the company that is being sponsored by Russian government and whitewashes Putin’s actions.
She said that as a reporter she faced many ethical and moral problems also because her parents immigrated to the US from Hungary to escape Soviet military.
“I am proud to be an American and believe in disseminating the truth. And that is why after this news cast I am resigning” – she said.
Before that another RT presenter Abby Martin, who is also American also judged the entrance of Russian military in Crimea, calling it military occupation.
